Bloom shallow bowl

A stunning shallow bowl design featuring a playful march of ladybirds and relief vintage flower details. White bone china with delicate sprig details. Handmade by Maria in Hertfordshire UK. A perfect bowl for sharing dishes. Freshly baked bread, tomato and mozzarella or hors d’oeuvres. Its made with a beautiful finesse and light weight that is only possible with fine bone china.

We have currently 3 colour ways available: white on white, pink on white (sprigs on the inside only) and pale blue on white.

Maria graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2006 from the renowned ceramics and glass course after achieving a first degree from Central St Martins in Ceramics. After her graduation she started her own studio. She put ceramics on hold in 2011 to concentrate on raising our two boys. We are now excited to be able to offer some of her original designs on the Rufus Country site. All ceramics are individually handmade and all differ in shape and design. This embraces the artisan nature of maria’s making processes and gives each piece a beautiful uniqueness. Each piece carries Maria’s makers mark ML.
